Tend

Privacy Policy

This sample privacy policy describes how Tend handles data during the alpha period. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by counsel.

What we store

When you create an account and use Tend, we store:

  • Your email address and display name
  • A hashed password (we never store plain-text passwords)
  • Tend items you create (title, type, rhythm, life area, notes)
  • Tend events (when you mark something tended)
  • Your availability windows and reminder preferences
  • Session cookies used to keep you signed in

How we use your data

We use this information to run the app: show your items, compute gentle status, schedule reminders, and keep you signed in. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Where data is hosted

Tend runs on:

  • Vercel for the web application
  • Neon for the PostgreSQL database
  • Cloudflare for DNS

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request account deletion from settings (when available) or by contacting us. Deletion removes your account and associated items, events, and settings.
